Galangso
Branding a Line of Sauces and Spice Rubs
Galangso responded well to a colorful design that has the pow and zing of their sauces and rubs. The products are created with amazing flavors from Jamaica and India. We redesigned the labels with hand-drawn patterns and bright colors to define the flavors and show a Caribbean/Indian vibe. We added some relevant, playful text, explaining that Galangso means “Be like that” in Jamaica, an irreverent way of being different. We created the “Be like that” type treatment for merchandising for clothing, aprons, and bags.
I really enjoy working with the owner, Katie. She has the keen ability of taking abstract thoughts and overlaying them to convey an even more effective message. Katie is great at listening and communicating, pays attention to details, and delivers!
